			Esto autógrafos no lo conseguí yo, que evidentemente no soy Sara, sino que los obtuve en una subasta on-line, y su valor y rareza radican en su antigüedad. Esto es material anterior a Garbage y Angelfish, concretamente de su primera banda, Goodbye Mr. Mackenzie. Vienen ambos en una edición especial del Lp "Good deeds and dirty rags" que incluía un maxi de 4 temas adicional. La funda del disco está firmada por toda la banda. La del maxi sólo por SHIRLEY que, curiosamente firmaba como "Shirley MacKenzie" . Sara, quienquiera que seas y dondequiera que estés... ¡gracias por deshacerte de esta joya, so pringá!

These autographs were not gotten by myself, obvioulsy I am not Sara, but I won them at an online auction, and their rarity value derives from how old they are.We ´re talking here about Shirley ´s pre-Angelfish and pre-Garbage band, Goodbye Mr. Mackenzie. The autographs are both on a special edition of the Lp "Good deeds and dirty rags" that included an extra 12 inch 4-track record. The sleeve of the record features the signatures of all members, but the 12 inch only has SHIRLEY ´s. Notice that her signature says "Shirley Mackenzie". Sara, whoever and wherever you are now...thanks for getting rid of this one, you fool!

Este cd, Angelfish, el único grabado por la segunda banda de SHIRLEY ya no es tan difícil (ni caro) de encontrar. Más complicado es el "Suffocate me" Ep, con 2 de sus 4 temas inéditos. En cualquier caso el cd de Angelfish es mucho más interesante a nivel musical de lo que pueda parecer, y no debería faltar en la colección de ningún Shirley-maníaco. This cd, Angelfish, the only one recorded by SHIRLEY ´s second band is no longer as rare (and expensive) as it used to be. Harder to find is the "Suffocate me" Ep, with 2 of its 4 songs being non-album tracks. Anyway, the Angelfish cd is, in terms of quality, much more interesting than it could seem, and no serious Shirley-head should be without it Some of its songs are plain mind-blowing. Los 6 primeros singles de Garbage son un tesoro. En vinilo, con temas inéditos, estéticamente innovadores y en ediciones limitadas. "Vow" tiene la portada en metal con relieve, y sólo existen 3.000 copias en el mundo (y salieron a la venta sólo 1.000). "Subhuman" tiene la portada en goma con relieve, y su tirada también es sólo de 3.000. De "Only happy when it rains" se hicieron 5.000. La portada tiene un holograma y la cara b es de doble surco: Según caiga la aguja suena una canción u otra. Las 15.000 copias de "Milk" tienen en su portada 16 fotogramas de video que crean la sensación de movimiento cuando se mueve el disco. El de "Queer" viene en una funda de plástico duro, y el de "stupid girl" es de tela. 	The first 6 singles by Garbage are a treasure. On vinyl, with unreleased tracks, esthetically innovative and in limited editions. "Vow" features an embossed metal cover, and there are only 3.000 copies worldwide (only 1.000 out of them where available for sale). "Subhuman" has an embossed rubber cover, with an edition of 3.000 as well. Of "Only happy when it rains" 5.000 copies where released. The cover has an hologram and a double-grooved b-side: Depending on where the needle falls, one song or another is played. The 15.000 copies of "Milk" contain 16 frames of a video on its cover which create the sensation of motion when you sway the record. Esta caja contiene el primer disco de Garbage, pero dividido en 7 singles, con dos canciones cada uno. El libreto viene en forma de una especie de postales por separado. Firmado por todo el grupo. Eso si, Butch lo firmó cuatro años más tarde que el resto del grupo, que cuando los demás la firmaron él estaba malito... Más información en EL MUSEO

This box contains the first album by Garbage but split in seven 7-inches, with 2 songs each. The booklet comes in a kind of spare postcards. The band signed it to me personally even though Butch signed it four years later... More info in THE MUSEUM

Aunque el título del cd ("The best of") indique que es un recopilatorio, la verdad es que se trata del "Beautiful Garbage" con dos temas adicionales: "#1 crush" y "The world is not enough". No pone por ningún lado de dónde procede, pero es claro que de algún país de Asia. Hay quien dice que es un "bootleg". Yo apostaría a que es una versión china (Haz click en la foto para verla aumentada)

Even though the title of this cd seems to indicate that this is a compilation, ("The best of") the truth is that this is the "Beautiful Garbage" album with two extra tracks: "#1 crush" and "The world is not enough". There is no information regarding where this edition is from, but it´s obvious it comes from some Asian country. Some say it´s a bootleg.I would bet it´s a China-only release. Este Cd, llamado "DeLuxe Collection" viene de Rusia y es una recopilación con temas de los tres primeros discos, y alguna cara B ("The world is not enough", "13 x forever" o "#1 crush). Las ediciones rusas son raras, raras...y algo piratas también. ¿Qué me dicen de ese cd de AC/DC con publicidad de vino dentro? (Que sí, que yo lo he visto...). This cd, called "DeLuxe Collection", comes from Russia and it´s a compilation with songs off the first three records plus some B-sides ("The world is not enough", "13 x forever" or "#1 crush). It´s hard to tell when a Russian edition is rare, or just pure bootleg material. I have seen an AC/DC cd with a red wine ad printed on the booklet! No bullshit! (Click on the photo to enlarge)

No hay mucho que explicar aquí. Es el "Beautiful Garbage" en edición vinilo doble. Esto es tan simple como una canción de Estopa. Ahora bien, la copia está firmada por todo el grupo tras una rueda de prensa (Madrid, 10 Junio `02), menos Butch, que estaba enfermo, como ya he dicho antes. Not much to say about this one. It´s the "Beautiful Garbage" double vinyl signed personally by the entire band at the end of a press conference (Madrid, June 10th, `02), except Butch, who was sick at the time, like I said before. Este Cd japonés se llama "Special collection" y es muy chulo. Tiene 2 temas inéditos ("Use me" y "Enough is never enough"), 2 remixes ("Androgyny" y "Cherry lips", muy bueno) y "Vow" en directo. Incluye un libreto con las letras de las canciones en inglés y japonés. Estos japoneses se lo curran. (Haz click en la foto para verla aumentada)

This Japanese cd is called called "Special Collection" and it´s quite cool. It features two new tracks ("Use me" and "Enough is never enough") 2 remixes ("Androgyny" and an excellent "Cherry lips" ) and "Vow" live. 			Esto es una pequeña especie de cajita que incluye los tres cd-singles de "Shut your mouth", que se vendían separadamente. No es que sea una rareza del copón, pero si que era algo difícil de conseguir en España, ya que ninguna de las tres partes se vendió aquí. Ya se sabe que aquí lo que vende bien es la bazofia...Ahora bien, hace poco un fan nórdico me dijo que esto ya costaba una pasta. This is a little kind of box that included the three "Shut your mouth" cd-singles which were sold separately. Not a rarity around the world probably, but kind of hard to get here in Spain, where they were not available since what people demand here most of the time is crap. Anyway, a Nordic fan recently told me this was pretty valuable nowadays.


	Otro recopilatorio bastante raro llamado "Re-cycled", que salió en edición limitada antes del "Bleed like me". No creo que se vendiera en las tiendas, aunque tampoco es un promo. Lo curioso es que no incluye ni una sola canción del "Beautiful Garbage", que tampoco era tan malo (Haz click en la foto para verla aumentada) This is a compilation cd called "Re-cycled". It came out before "Bleed like me". I don´t think it was even sold in the stores, but it´s not a promo either. The funny thing is that being a compilation album, not even ONE song off "Beautiful Garbage" is included, and that one was not so bad... (Click on the photo to enlarge)


			Esta es la versión china del cd "Bleed like me" . Aparte de la cajita que envuelve el cd, han metido 9 caras B de la primera época de Garbage ("Trip my wire", "Subhuman", "Kick my ass"...). A un precio de risa (si lo compras en China, claro...) This is the Chinese version of the "Bleed like me" release. It includes the usual protective box, and features 9 B sides from the early days of Garbage ("Trip my wire", "Subhuman", "Kick my ass"...). VERY cheap...if you happen to be in China, of course.
