SEAN YSEULT fue la bajista de WHITE ZOMBIE desde su formación en 1985 hasta la triste desaparición del grupo en 1996, cuando estaban en su cima creativa y de ventas. Cómo pasaron de ser un grupo de rock ratonero y tosco a ser una banda innovadora de un rock impecable...no lo sé, pero ocurrió. Después formó parte del trío femenino de música surf chunga FAMOUS MONSTERS con quienes grabó dos cd´s: "In the night!" y "Around the world in 80 bikinis". En estos momentos es miembro del grupo ROCK CITY MORGUE.

SEAN YSEULT, bassist of WHITE ZOMBIE from its birth in 1985 to the sad death of the band in 1996, while at their peak, both creatively and sales-wise. How they went from a rough, noisy, terrible underground style to being a technical, brilliant, innovative band...I do not know... but it happened. She later formed the all-female Surf music trio FAMOUS MONSTERS with whom she recorded two cd´s:"In the night!" & "Around the world in 80 bikinis". She is currently the bass player of the band ROCK CITY MORGUE.

Vale, vale. Esto no es una pieza de memorabilia de SEAN, pero como tiene que ver con su anterior grupo, White Zombie, pues he decidido incluirlo. La primera vez que vi esta foto fue en Arco, la feria anual de arte moderno de Madrid. Esta copia, conseguida en una subasta por internet, la firmó ROB ZOMBIE, según me contó el vendedor, porque Rob se sienta junto a él en los partidos (supongo que de baloncesto) (Haz click en la foto para verla aumentada)

Ok, This is no SEAN memorabilia, but it has to do with her previous band, WHITE ZOMBIE, so I decided to include it. The first time I saw this picture was at Arco, an annual modern art fair that takes place in Madrid. This piece, gotten from an online auction, was signed by Rob ZOMBIE, as the seller told me, because Rob and him sit next to each other during the games (I guess basketball games) (Click on the photo to enlarge)


	Esto es uno de los posters anunciando uno de los primeros conciertos de White Zombie ...sino el primero! Es una copia, pero puede que sea idéntico al oríginal (hasta las portadas de los primeros singles eran fotocopias). El caso es que está firmado por el entonces guitarra Tim Jeffs, (que duró 10 minutos en el grupo), y SEAN. El local fue el mítico CBGB´s de NYC. Y por 3$. (Haz click en la foto para verla aumentada) This is a poster for one the first White Zombie shows ...maybe the very first one!! It´s a copy, but might be very well identical to the original, since the band even xeroxed the copvers of their first. This one is also signed by early guitarrist Tim Jeffs (who was in WZ for about ten minutes) and SEAN. The place was the world-famous CBGB´s in NYC. 3$ was the charge! (Click on the photo to enlarge)

			Este anunció apareció en el número 14 de la revista americana Guitar World. En él se ve a SEAN y a J (compañeros en White Zombie por aquel entonces) con los modelos de bajo y guitarra "Iceman" de Ibanez. Para mi gusto, las guitarras eléctricas más chéveres nunca diseñadas. Estas son dos puas. La primera era supuestamente de las que usaba SEAN en su época de WHITE ZOMBIE. Sin embargo, cuando la conocí me confesó que ella nunca ha utilizado ese modelo, y que alguien estaba sacando dinero a su costa. Eso sí, ella accedio a firmarla...y ya dejó de ser falsa. (Hay que ser freak para pedir un autógrafo en una pua...). Ahora está bendecida. La otra es de Johnny Brashear, guitarrista de su grupo, Rock City Morgue. Un tio muy majete.

These are two pics. The first one was supposed to be the kind SEAN would use during her WHITE ZOMBIE days. However, when I got to meet her she told me she had never used that kind, and that someone was making a buck off her. Anyway, she signed the pick upon my request, and it´s no longer a fake. No it´s blessed. (Autograph on a pick, how sick is that?) The other one belonged to Johnny Brashear, guitar player of her band Rock City Morgue. A very cool guy.
