The very first time I knew about POLLY JEAN HARVEY was because posters with her face were all over the London subway. I must confess I did not like her, and gave me quite a negative impression. First, because the portraits of her were taken off the cover of her "Rid of me" album, which features an awful photo. And second, because I tend to think just the opposite of what the British journalists say. And they said that she was the next big thing.
